Monday, November 25th, 2019
After raiding the breakfast buffet, we checked out of our hotel and got ready for our “big” 5 mile day. We planned to find a place to dry out our gear, before waiting for Frisbee’s parents to pick us up at the library to take us to Tampa for Thanksgiving. We walked on sidewalks and bike paths all day, crossed over I-4 and wandered to a sunny, paved lot that dead-ended where we laid out all of our stinky, wet gear.
Once everything was dry, we took FL-431B to Lake Mary where we grabbed lunch at Taco Bell. We didn’t have to walk much further to get to Lake Mary Library. We were excited to see the family for a few days.

Tuesday, November 26th – Friday, November 29th, 2019
We had a nice Thanksgiving holiday in Tampa visiting Frisbee’s family. We ate well and spent the bulk of the time resting, doing hiker errands, and eating a LOT of delicious food. It was a nice vacation from our vacation!
